The rapper has bet on some of the biggest sporting events in the world, like the Super Bowl and some UFC fights. Although this time, the Canadian-born star was betting on his hometown hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Following the Game 7 loss by the Leafs, Drake seems to be blaming fellow Canadian singer Justin Bieber for the disappointment.
The Blast reports that over the weekend, Justin Bieber made an appearance at the Toronto Maple Leafs’ Game 7 against the Florida Panthers. However, despite the Leafs being Bieber’s favorite hockey team, many seemingly deemed his action at the event to be a little childish. Drake was among the groups of fans who called him out. The rapper may blame the “Bieber Curse” for the Maple Leafs losing Game 7, and in turn losing Drake his $1 million bet. The singer would then take to his Instagram story to post a black screen that read the words “Bieber Curse.” However, fans on social media may disagree with Drake as they state, “This is why nobody likes him,” regarding the rapper.

The bottom line is that Drake lost $1 million on a hockey game and tried to blame Justin Bieber, who happened to be at the same game.
