Media Molecule has announced that Dreams Early Access is coming to a close. In addition, they will host an annual awards show highlighting Dreams creators and content.
Dreams is a content creation game from the creators of LittleBigPlanet. It allows users to create anything they can imagine, from first-person shooter levels to classical music.
Dreams Early Access Will Not Be Available to Purchase Soon
The early access version of Dreams will not be available to purchase after December 7th at 3:59 p.m. PST. However, anyone that has already purchased the early access of Dreams can still play the game and upgrade to the full version at no additional cost.
Not only will the full version of Dreams come with changes influenced by the community, but it will also come with a story-mode created by Media Molecule.
Media Molecule Highlight Creators at Impy Awards
Media Molecule will host the Impy Awards, which will award the best creators and content to come out of the early access period. The categories for the Impy Awards include:

- Best Visuals
- Best Narrative
- Best Sculpture
- Best Song
- Best Animation
- Best Gameplay
- Best Curator
- Best Character
- Best Sound Design
- Best Voice Acting
- Funniest Creation
- The ‘’Awww-ard’
- Most Improved Dreamer
- Hidden Gem Creator
- Hidden Gem Dream
- The Wish-I-Had-Thought-Of-That Award
- Community Star
- Most Helpful Dreamer
- Favorite Streamer
Community nominations will open on Monday, December 9th. Anyone that would like to nominate a creator or creation from the world of Dreams can access it here.
Voting Done by Panel of Experts and Community
After the community nominations are in, a panel of Media Molecule developers and special guests will vote on the winners. However, for the Hidden Gem Creator, Hidden Gem Dream, The Wish-I-Had-Thought-Of-That Award, Community Star, Most Helpful Dreamer, and Favorite Streamer categories will be voted on by the Dreams community.
The Impy Awards will premiere on January 26th on Media Molecule’s Twitch channel.
