Dua Lipa Seamlessly Blends Modern Trends with Vintage Flair
For the cover photo of the magazine, Dua Lipa opted for a retro look by styling her hair in a voluminous, puffed-up fashion, reminiscent of the iconic looks from the 1980s. She wore a black dress with a sweetheart neckline and teamed it with a pair of grey leggings. Completing the look, she opted for black Mary Jane pumps, combining classic style with a touch of retro charm.
However, in other photos, the “Scared to be Lonely” singer showed off her versatility by choosing more contemporary fashion choices.
For instance, in one of the photos, she confidently rocked a black mesh top paired with a black bra and sleek black short bottoms. She accessorized her ensemble with a stylish pair of long boots. Moreover, complementing her fashion-forward attire, she let her burgundy-colored tresses down.
In another picture, Lipa flaunted her enviable physique in a stunning black bodysuit. The eye-catching outfit featured dramatic details, including long sleeves that added a touch of playful elegance to her overall look.
Beauty With Brains
Even though a glance at Dua Lipa’s Instagram page suggests that she is always busy with her glamorous life and musical performances, the talented diva also nurtures her intellectual side by engaging in monthly readings. In a separate Instagram post this week, the singer informed her fans that she was reading Swimming in the Dark by Tomasz Jedrowski.
According to literary agency Blake Friedmann, the book was Jedrowski’s debut novel. In addition to being chosen by Lipa, the novel was selected as a finalist for the Polari First Book Prize in 2021. It has also been translated into eighteen languages.
