Dua Lipa has sparked complaints as steamy boat snaps of her with fiance Callum Turner garner comments. The British singer, 29, soaked up the sun with her beau while in Italy at the end of June, but not everyone seeing the couple’s PDA was keen.
Enjoying some downtime amid her ongoing Future Nostalgia music tour, Dua showed off her fit figure in a two-piece, and she wasn’t holding back on the romantic action. Clambering all over Callum as the two kinda made out with the paparazzi watching, Dua made it clear that her relationship is rock-solid, but the photos left fans unsteady. While one called the images “staged,” another said that the whole thing was “embarrassing.” Dua began dating Callum in January 2024. The couple announced their engagement in June 2025.

Stripping down during Italy’s hot weather, Dua highlighted her toned shoulders and famous abs while in a stringy, halterneck look. Going itty-bitty in spot-prints while wearing black and white, the Grammy winner looked sensational with her tan on show, wearing her hair down and going makeup-free.

Getting Told Photos Are ‘Staged’ And ‘Embarrassing’
Users quickly commented on the IG photos. While some loved the vibe and one user replied: “I love them,” others weren’t too enthusiastic.
“And they paid a bunch to make sure we all know about it” was a comment gaining likes. “Staged. He’s even looking up at the cameras,” a further fan remarked. Fourteen fans agreed when a further user wrote: “Staged. How embarrassing.”
Celebrities including singer Jennifer Lopez and The Kardashians are regularly accused of staging their paparazzi photos, however Dua tends not to fall under this category. One fan called the couple a “fake,” although everything on Dua’s Instagram indicates the contrary. The pop sensation has been steadily updating her fans on her budding engagement with Callum, who turned 35 in February.
On June 9, she wrote: “That’s amoreee,” while posting a loved-up snap of herself getting a tender hug from Callum. The share earned over 3 million fan likes. Dua’s Instagram is followed by over 87 million. Celebrity followers include singer Selena Gomez and actress Bella Thorne.
