Dying Light 2: Undying Affection Office Safe Code

What’s in the box?

Cracking open safes is one of the many activities that players can partake in as they make their way through the zombie-infested city of Dying Light 2. While some of these safes can be found in the open world, there are also a few that are found in sidequests, with one example of this type of safe being found in the quest “Undying Affection.” This safe code is a bit different from some of the others that you have likely come across, but that doesn’t mean opening it will be any more difficult than those safes.

You can pick up the Undying Affection side quest from an NPC named Charlotte in the Downtown zone of the Central Loop, the second-largest region of the game. You will be able to access this area through the main mission called “Let’s Waltz!”  This is the tenth main quest in the game, but the side quest will not be available once you step foot in the Loop. Continue to make your way through the main story until you finish the game’s 11th main mission titled, “A Place to Call Home.” This will cause Charlotte to spawn. She will be marked on your map and can be found on the rooftop across from the building with a large “Showroom” neon sign.

Talking to Charlotte, she will tell you to get a memento from a safe in her old office. There is no actual numerical code that you will be given like the ones that you have likely seen if you have opened other safes around the world. Instead of manually turning the dial and stopping the right numbers, you will be prompted to turn the dial left or right via a dialogue menu that you see when talking with NPCs. The code she gives you to the safe is to turn the  dial “twice to the right, once to the left, once to the right.”

To get into the office, you are going to need to paraglide to it. Climb up the Showroom building and paraglide into the window from there. Be prepared to face off with a group of zombies once inside. Once they are dealt with, you will need to jump up into a room to the left of the window you entered from, where you will find the safe on the shelf.

From here, you just have to select “Twice to the right,” then “Once to the left,” and finally “once to the right.” You will find a bracelet and note inside the safe, return them to Charlotte to complete the quest. This will reward you with one UV bar and 3,000 parkour XP.
