One of the biggest announcements to come from Sony’s E3 2017 conference came at the very beginning and with a special introduction from Shawn Layden, president and CEO of Sony Interactive. A gameplay trailer was shown for the newest Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter World. This game has been a fan favorite for years and has quite the following all over the world.
Monster Hunter World is the first Monster Hunter game that Capcom has developed for a console other than Nintendo’s in years. It was announced after the conference was over that not only will the title be available on PlayStation 4, but it will also be available on Xbox One and PC. The PC version will launch after the console versions, but we can expect to see this out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2018. As of right now, there wasn’t a whole lot of information released about the title.
Sadly, E3 is drawing to a close with Nintendo holding the final conference later today. Here is an official schedule for your viewing pleasure. And, as always, keep an eye on The Nerd Stash as we will be showing and covering the events live!
