Metro: Exodus has been in development for some time now, being first revealed at E3 2017 last year. It was a game promised to be out by the end of this year but was delayed to the first quarter of 2019. Now, at E3 2018 at the Microsoft conference, a new gameplay trailer for the title has been released.
“4A are extremely proud to be showing 4K gameplay of one of our vast open levels exclusively on the world’s biggest videogames stage,” said Andriy Prokhorov, Creative Director and co-founder at 4A Games. “We can’t wait to reveal more of Artyom’s journey in the coming months.”
This trailer focuses on a lot of the new landscapes players can expect in Metro: Exodus, while also focusing on showing off a lot of the weapons and gadgets. Some familiar. Some new. Either way, players will have to fight to the death through the re-imagined landscapes of Russia if they’re going to survive. If the details seen in this trailer are any indication as to how the game will handle itself graphically, then fans are in for quite the treat.
Metro: Exodus will be available on February 22, 2019. Players can pre-order it now here, if they don’t want to wait any longer than they have to.
