E3 2018: Shadow of the Tomb Raider Story Trailer

At the E3 Xbox briefing today, a new story trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider was released. This harrowing trailer details the story for the final part of the Tomb Raider trilogy, which is set to release later this year.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was announced in April when Square Enix accidentally leaked their own reveal. According to the website, “In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara must master a deadly jungle, overcome terrifying tombs, and persevere through her darkest hour. As she races to save the world from a Maya apocalypse, Lara will be forged into the Tomb Raider she is destined to be.”

Square Enix has promised to show some actual gameplay, which gamers can expect to see at their conference Monday, June 11 at 1 PM EST. What is described as the toughest Tomb Raider game to date is set to release on September 14, 2018, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
