Castor Woods isn’t a walk in the park, or well, it is, but one that is crawling with zombies. After Kyle’s long absence, he’s back in the fight, but he isn’t as strong as we remember. Fortunately, he can recover many of his skills and a few new Beast abilities to make strolling around the map feel like a breeze. If you want to unlock those ground slams or flying kicks, we’ve made a quick guide to show you the easiest way to level up fast in Dying Light: The Beast.
Follow The Main Story

Let’s start with the obvious: the best way to level fast in Dying Light: The Beast is by following the main story. Usually, one complete main quest will give you enough experience for the next level, giving you a lot of skill points in the process. Furthermore, following the critical path is a good idea as it teaches you several key elements from the game that will help you explore Castor Woods easily. However, with so many things to do in this place, we recommend mixing a few of the things we’ll recommend below with the main story to get the most out of your stay in Castor Woods.
Explore During the Night

If you’re not afraid of the dark, then exploring during the night is a viable option. It isn’t the fastest nor the safest, but killing enemies at night will give you double experience. There are also a few rare zombies you can find that have a lot of rare resources that might help you craft better items and weapons, but the downside is that the night is crawling with Volatiles, which might make your whole exploration a bit counterproductive. Remember that you lose experience points when you die, so if you really want to go down the dangerous route, keep this in mind.
Complete Side Quests and Side Activities

Other things that a few might ignore are side quests and side activities. The former appear on the map with an icon, and completing them tends to reward you with a lot of experience and some good items. However, there are also some side activities, like unlocking safe zones, that can give you a good chunk of experience. Mixing these with your main story quests is ideal and will allow you to level up quickly in the game. Plus, it is much safer than just going aimlessly into the night to your certain demise.
