How To Get The Beast Champion Armor Set In Elden Ring
The Beast Champion Armor Set is dropped upon defeating Knight Bernahl. The first place you can meet this NPC is in Limgrave to the right of the Stormhill Shack at a location called Warmaster’s Shack. Knight Bernahl will sell you a list of simple Ashes of War to apply your weapons. If you are willing to kill the knight in cold blood, you can get the Beast Champion armor set early in the game. He will also drop his weapon, the Devourer’s Scepter. Just know that if you do this, you will miss out on Knight Bernahl’s questline at the Volcano Manor. If you have visited the Manor, Bernahl will be in there, and you will not be able to attack him. The next chance you will have to fight Bernahl is in the Crumbling Farum Azula.
To reach the location where players can get the Beast Champion armor set and once again face Bernahl, now known as Recusant Bernahl, start from the Side of the Great Bridge Site of Grace and go up the stairs towards the Maliketh, the Black Blade’s boss arena. Instead of going to the right towards the boss, go to the left and go down some stairs at the Dragon Temple at the end of the bridge. Go through the doorway, to the right of the stairs, then turn right again once outside to see a ladder. The bottom of the ladder leads to a lone tower with a chest. On this bridge to the tower, you will be invaded by Recusant Bernahl. Defeating him will provide you with all the same gear mentioned before, including a tool called the Blasphemous Claw which will help players counteract attacks from Maliketh’s Black Blade. The version of the Beast Champion armor is altered and doesn’t have a cape. You can add the cape at a Site of Grace if you have the sewing kit or have completed Boc the Demi-human’s quest, and he is still alive.
