If you fail to convert your enemies with words, then you need something stronger. You need the best Faith weapons in Elden Ring, so you can spread your god’s peaceful ways by force. Such is the will of the Golden Order, and if you are to ascend to the Erdtree one day and offer your frail flesh as kindling for the Greater Will — or something like that, then your weapons must be as strong as your Faith.
So whether you’re hurling lightning in the name of your favorite dragon or committing holy arson to purge the filth of Tarnished impurities, the following Faith weapons in Elden Ring are here to add some spark to your sacred sermon.

Winged Scythe
Weapon Type | Reaper |
Damage Type | Physical Holy |
Max Scaling | Str – D Dex – C Fai – C |
Requirement | Str 16 Dex 16 Fai 24 |
Location | Tombsward Ruins, Weeping Peninsula in Limgrave |
If you want to spread your Faith in Elden Ring early on, the Winged Scythe is one of the most accessible tools for hunting down infidels. It’s somewhat of a complete package since it scales with both Dexterity and Faith, while also offering Bleed opportunities.
You might even have success taking it to the Shadow of the Erdtree area. The Winged Scythe is quite powerful for how early you can obtain it. And trying to meet its brow-raising requirements is worth the experimentation.
Blasphemous Blade
Weapon Type | Greatsword |
Damage Type | Physical Fire |
Max Scaling | Str – C Dex – C Fai – B |
Requirement | Str 22 Dex 15 Fai 21 |
Location | Enia in Roundtable Hold after defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy |
Despite the nerfs, the Blasphemous Blade still stands tall and is among the most overpowered weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, thanks to a certain magma-themed DLC talisman that buffed it back up. The blade’s fire damage is still astronomical, and only Furnace Golems will shrug it off.
Coupled with the fact that the Blasphemous Blade also heals, then you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more well-rounded, overpowered build than anything built around the Blasphemous Blade. It can be so strong sometimes that you might get bored with how easy it is to coast through the DLC area using this weapon.
Erdtree Seal
Weapon Type | Sacred Seal |
Damage Type | Physical Holy |
Max Scaling | Fai – S |
Requirement | Fai 40 |
Location | Corpse near the Omenkiller in Prison Town Church, Volcano Manor |
With a high Faith requirement and an even higher Faith scaling, there’s no mistaking the Erdtree Seal. It’s a conduit for your god’s rage and fury (or protection, if they’re feeling benevolent). It’s a slight upgrade over the more commonly used Godslayer Seal.
The Erdtree Seal edges out the Godslayer Seal past 60 Faith or so and is the ideal choice if you don’t care about the Black Flame incantations. Your golden glowing hand after brandishing this Sacred Seal is enough to shut the nonbelievers and heathens (because they won’t be alive after you zap or burn them).
Fire Knight Greatsword
Weapon Type | Colossal Sword |
Damage Type | Physical Fire |
Max Scaling (Infused for Flame or Sacred) | Str E Dex E Fai B |
Requirement | Str 22 Dex 18 Fai 12 |
Location | Dropped by Fire Knights in Shadow Keep |
The Fire Knight Greatsword is an excellent alternative to the Blasphemous Blade if you’re looking for a more proactive melee playstyle. It just so happens that the DLC also came with some stylish and spicy, fire-flavored Ashes of War: Flame Spear and Flame Skewer.
Using either on the Fire Knight Greatsword turns you into a bonafide and overpowered Fire Knight. And it’s not just for show. The Fire Knight Greatsword has one of the highest (if not the highest) attack ratings out of all melee weapons in the game. You can also customize it to your liking.
Black Steel Greathammer
Weapon Type | Great Hammer |
Damage Type | Physical Holy |
Max Scaling (Infused for Flame or Sacred) | Str D Dex E Fai B/C |
Requirement | Str 25 Dex 11 Fai 17 |
Location | Black Knight in Church of Consolation, Gravesight Plain |
If you’re having trouble with the DLC bosses, then a typical strategy from other players is to infuse the Black Steel Greathammer with the Prayerful Strike Ash of War and just bonk everything to their holy deaths as a hammer paladin. It has a similar performance to the Blasphemous Blade, except melee and with higher poise damage and testosterone.
The only downside is that it takes up 1/5 of your screen, but that doesn’t matter as your goal is to attack first and give your enemies no quarter. Don’t forget your paladin playstyle buffs and prayers before smacking away with god’s fist-made manifest.
Staff of the Great Beyond
Weapon Type | Glintstone Staff |
Damage Type | Physical |
Max Scaling (Infused for Flame or Sacred) | Str D Int B Fai B |
Requirement | Str 7 Int 25 Fai 25 |
Location | Enia in Roundtable Hold after defeating Metyr, Mother of Fingers |
Fundamentalists aren’t forgotten, and the Elden Ring DLC ensured that. The Staff of the Great Beyond is one of the best sleeper Faith weapons in Elden Ring because it functions as both a Staff and a Seal.
This is quite a godsend for Int/Faith builds — no more clunky switching between two weapons just to cast different spells. Obtaining it is a long process, but if you’re a stubborn Fundamentalist practitioner, like all Golden Order clerics, consider that a test of Faith.
