Florida teenagers took to the social media platform TikTok to post a video of them being chased out of a private golf club by an elderly man in a golf cart for fishing on the property. The two were chased across the course, with the elderly man getting very close to hitting them at times.
The video in question shows two young boys walking on a sidewalk at what appears to be some sort of club or apartment complex in Florida with fishing rods in their hands. It is unclear what went down before the camera started rolling, but it appears that the two were speaking with a few other people from the property before an older man in a black golf cart rolled up. According to this man, “Your [expletive] fishing days are [expletive] over.”
The boy recording says something along the lines of, “We’re visiting my uncle,” before being cut off by the older man who drives the golf cart closer. Eventually, the altercation becomes a bit more heated as the older man gets out of the golf cart to begin chasing the teenagers, even going through an embankment to get them. Eventually, he catches up to the boys who can be heard gasping for air, and says, “Listen, you little [expletive], this is a private club, and you don’t fish here, you got that?”
At the end of the video, you can see golfers in the background, implying that the field is likely private. However, it is still incredibly dangerous to chase other individuals with a golf cart, which has the potential to cause a lot of damage. One commenter even replied with, “That same guy: “kids are indoors too much these days.” However, if the property is private, then the boys really have no business being there.
Just before the video ends, the teenagers can be seen talking to someone who appears to be an official of the club, explaining that they got the entire altercation on video.

The replies under the video primarily targeted the stereotype of people getting angry at those who are fishing, with one person saying, “People get so mad for fishing tho.” A different commenter went the extra mile and assumed who the elderly man voted for according to his actions, saying, “TELL ME YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP WITHOUT TELLING ME YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP !“
As of this moment, an update has not been made about what happened after the video was taken. However, it appears that neither the teenagers nor the elderly man was harmed.
