Elizabeth Hurley was attempting to “burn calories” as she splashed about her swimming pool for an outdoor workout in August 2018, although for fans, it was likely a treat to see her in only swimwear briefs on Instagram.
Showing her sense of fun as she swam in a pool while posting to Instagram, the 58-year-old model highlighted her toned figure while opting out of a bikini top, with a joking caption saying that she was hoping she could “swim” the calories off. Fans have now viewed the Netflix star’s footage over 2 million times.
Elizabeth Hurley Keeps Fit With Swimming On Instagram
Having the time of her life as she was filmed solo and swimming breaststroke, Elizabeth smiled for the camera as she enjoyed a quiet pool with attractive potted flowers on a nearby terrace.
Low-key flaunting her model figure, the Austin Powers star sizzled in a white pair of bikini briefs as she showed off her slim waist and legs, although with the water in the way, fans didn’t see too much of her while she was submerged. Wearing her highlighted hair in a bun and braving a jump out of the water while topless, Liz just about stayed safe as she wrapped her arms around her bare chest, here delivering a fun, surprised expression.
Hoping To ‘Swim Off’ The Calories
Eventually turning onto her back as she hit pause on the swimming, Elizabeth sent her fans another gorgeous smile as she wrote: “Attempting to swim off the calories.” A hashtag placed Hurley in Greece, with a tag shouting out her 2005-founded Elizabeth Hurley Beach swimwear brand.
“My favorite,” one fan quickly replied.
Hurley continues to make headlines for her youthful good looks as she approaches 60. Earlier this year, the brunette took to Instagram to share how she stays in shape. In a nutshell, Liz doesn’t eat “too much” or “too often,” and she’s pretty strict on what she considers to be cheat foods.
“I try to have vegetables or fruit equal half of every plate I eat – ie if I have a sandwich, I also eat an apple. I eat pretty much everything but only have junk food as an absolute treat – and I count junk food as anything that contains any ingredient that I don’t have in my own kitchen, so that includes ‘diet’ and ‘low-fat’ everything, all ready meals, all bought sandwiches, cakes and biscuits and all sodas,” she wrote, then revealing that her breadmaker has been one of her best purchases.
Liz even bakes one loaf of bread per day. While the star confirmed that she is “extremely active,” she’s not into the gym and prefers varied workouts that include walking her dog.
