The past has come back to bite Elon Musk, but this time in the form of some hilarious artwork. The SpaceX owner has been on the receiving end of several mocking artworks recently.
Musk has become more active in the government since President Donald Trump began his second administration. As the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the billionaire businessman has gained more and more critics who are clear on their stance against him. Even his electric vehicle business, Tesla, has taken a hit, as there have been reports of Tesla vandalisms nationwide.
One of the most recent jabs directly targeted at Musk is an artwork that a citizen sighted in Arlington, Virginia. In the poster, the SpaceX owner was depicted as a cartoon character with unpleasant features and a receding hairline. The inscription on the poster mockingly read, “Being mean to my cars is terrowism,”—a” joke on his accent.
The image was posted on Reddit, and several social media users reacted to it, with one saying, “The original hairline. This needs to be made into a decal for every car.”
Another citizen said, “No matter what boy-genius thinks, invents, tears down, he will always look like this at his core.”
One user further mocked the billionaire, referring to him as a fascist. “Aawww, poor little insecure fascist. Did the mean people hurt his fee fees?”
Another chimed, “This needs to be sent to every city worldwide for people to put up in public. It’s perfect.”
A hilarious third comment read, “Elon ‘Heil Hair Plugs’ Musk.”
In another hilarious artwork sighted in Rhode Island weeks ago, Musk was depicted as the infamous Marie Antoinette, the queen who was allegedly oblivious to the suffering of her people. The poster showed the face of the head of DOGE attached to the body of the French queen with the inscription, “Let them buy Teslas.”
The inscription was a brilliant play on Marie Antoinette’s popular proclamation, “Let them eat cake,” which she said when her people could not afford to eat bread. The Tesla CEO was also branded with a Swastika on his forehead to further depict him as a terrorist.
As the image made the rounds on social media, many citizens reacted to it, and most people found it hilarious. “The piece de Resistance of the Musk Art period,” one person said. “Elonia looks so pretty 😂,” another said.
The fact that the technology genius is losing likability among the people isn’t just an assumption. According to CNN’s chief data analyst, Harry Enten, Musk’s favorability rating among the Democrats has dropped significantly from +24 to -19 between 2017 and 2025 alone. His business also took a hit, as new registrations for Tesla vehicles were reportedly reduced by 11% in January 2025.
However, despite all this, the businessman seems unfazed by the hate he receives on a daily basis.
