Embr update co-op
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information.

You’re likely aware of the co-op staples such as Left 4 Dead 2 and, as of late, Phasmophobia. There’s a huge market of co-op games out there though, all of which offering hours of laughs. From GTFO to sillier indies like Unrailed, there’s plenty for you and your friends to enjoy. One you may or may not have heard of is Embr, a silly firefighting game made for up to four players. The game has been in Early Access for a good few months now and is about to get much better. Curve Digital and Muse Games are happy to announce that Embr is getting one more major update before 2021, alongside the recent Winter Update. That’s a lot of content to enjoy, and the fun is only getting started.

For the unaware, Embr’s Winter Update brought various new features. There’s a new office environment, a new mini-campaign, additional items, a Medic gear drop, and truck cosmetics! All of this can be seen in action in the above video if you so desire. Following that up though, December will bring the Holiday Update free for all owners of Embr. You can expect another mini-campaign, new items, a Holiday gear drop, and even more truck cosmetics. Both updates seem to bring a substantial amount to the game, which should only get better over the next year.

If you haven’t played yet though, Embr is a firefighting game for you and up to three friends. In this new society, emergency services are a thing of the past. As an Embr responder, it’s up to you to satisfy people’s needs. Whether that be fighting fires, helping them move, or even delivering food. The Embr guarantee is that no task is too menial or difficult, and you’re expected to uphold that. “The startup of the century” is available to join on both PC and Google Stadia, depending on what you prefer. You can even pick the game up at a 30% discount, so what are you waiting for?

Will you be trying Embr’s new Winter update? What are your initial impressions from the above video? Let me know in the comments below!
