Since time immemorial, society has tended to divide things into “men’s and women’s.” But for some reason, many men believe that women only approach them because they are interested in the vehicle they drive. However, an influencer from Oregon said on her social media that she thinks cars are “unimpressive.” That was enough for several men to start attacking her in the comments.
On TikTok, @savannahdoesntbrew uploaded a video laughing because men were upset with her. All it took was for this Oregon influencer to say that she finds cars unimpressive. But instead of being upset by the attacks from these offended men, she simply found it hilarious. So did several of her followers, mostly female, who agreed that they are not interested in cars. In addition, many women commented that they do not understand why men brag about them so much.

Many even commented that the issue is very contradictory. This is because some men claim they can win girls over with a nice car. Yet, they are the same ones who believe women are only interested in material things. In other comments, women mentioned that they barely know the model of their own car, and what matters most to them about a vehicle is that it can get them from place to place. However, the funniest thing of all is that women shared ways to avoid men like those in the comments. For example, they made fun of noisy cars, others suggested that some men are overcompensating, or using this behavior as a way to attract other men.

This situation is very reminiscent of when it went viral on social media for men to share their setups and PC specs. Meanwhile, women just made fun of them, saying that their setups were pink and that they could play The Sims or some other cozy game. However, we must remember that it all depends on personal taste. Some women are knowledgeable about mechanics and have a passion for cars. Just as there are men who are not interested in sports cars, this is simply the opinion of someone on the internet, and people should not give so much importance to what a random person thinks.
