Sometimes, being in a public setting can cause a lot of stress for many people. However, there is no excuse for being unnecessarily rude to an employee for just doing their job. Although that’s exactly what this California Karen would do to a children’s museum worker, as tensions were high. In a recently posted TikTok video, viewers get a front-row seat to this woman’s meltdown as they even roast her online. The clip has around 34K views and 1K likes as it continues to reach viral status.
The TikTok begins with a family walking into a children’s museum, though the weather is a little less than satisfactory as it is slightly raining outside. When the line continues to move into the building, the California woman in front of the person recording can be seen talking to an employee who was holding the door. As the conversation continues, it becomes very clear that the woman is upset. However, her reasoning for all these big feelings was arguably a little childish. The woman can be heard complaining about having to wait in the rain when she had little children with her. Yet, she didn’t set a very good example for them as she was incredibly rude about her issues.
TikTok Rages At California Karen
This set many TikTok users off as they would take to the comment section of the video to roast the California Karen. “She didn’t look at the weather app before leaving?” one asked. “Glad you caught this interaction on camera,” said another. Finally, another wrote, “Weather is predictable.” It would seem as though pretty much all the comments were on the worker’s side here.
While that should have been the end of the altercation, unfortunately, it was not. Later in the same TikTok, the California woman can be seen speaking to what appears to be a manager about the man working the door. The person recording would then write a long paragraph in the video caption explaining what really went down.
The text speaks about how the Karen only had to wait around five minutes outside before entering the building. She would then state that the Karen was lying to the manager about the previous worker. The Karen was reportedly accusing the worker of all kinds of things that just did not happen. The woman would allegedly tell the manager that she had to wait for around “20 minutes in the rain.” The person recording also writes that they, along with many others, apologized to the worker at the door for this woman’s behavior.
In the video’s comment section, the person recording also states that they went to the manager themselves. After the California Karen had left, they would reportedly set the record straight and even show them the footage. Hopefully, the employee was not punished in any way for just doing his job. As for the woman in the video, maybe she needs to work on her anger issues a little bit.
