An Oregon woman is sparking outrage online after putting her feet up on a table in an Apple Store, shoes off. Not only did many people see this customer’s behavior as “entitled” and “arrogant,” but some also wondered why other customers or the employees didn’t bother doing anything.

Reddit user theeq4alizer shared a photo of this “entitled lady” on both r/trashy and r/mildlyinfuriating, commenting on how “Her feet reeked so bad.” The post shows the woman, along with a host of other customers in the background. Most of them appear unbothered, mostly because their attention was elsewhere. Alleged foot odor aside, thousands criticized the woman for believing this was acceptable, in a store, no less.

Numerous Users Slammed the Woman For Her Behavior

“I can’t fathom how someone would think this is okay,” says a commenter. “I guarantee it’s just that the workers were busy with other people and asked her to wait. This is her malicious compliance,” remarked another. Plenty of people claimed it was the “typical” behavior of people who owned Apple products. “That doesn’t even look comfortable,” wrote a third.

One person claiming to have worked at a “fairly upscale restaurant” said they have seen many rich women taking off their shoes and “rubbing their feet on furniture that’s not theirs.” A second commenter chimed in, saying, “This is common on flight now too. Everyone taking off their shoes.”

A handful of commenters also shared their concerns about why OP knew how the woman’s feet smelled, considering they weren’t next to her. Some people accused that talking about the customer’s body odor was simply ragebait, since her behavior was the main concern, not the smell.

This woman wasn’t the only Apple store customer to ever express explicit discontent with waiting for an employee to help them. One woman in a Los Angeles store also complained that she was being intentionally “ignored” by employees, though she believed it was racially motivated.

Whatever the case, both customers show how people can become rather unrestful and even annoyed when retail customer service takes too long to help them. Some upload their dissatisfaction on TikTok, while others might kick back and relax while waiting.
