There are only a few days until Christmas and the Epic Games Store is on a roll when it comes to giveaways. Last week, the store’s annual holiday sale began with a giveaway of Destiny 2: Legacy Collection. Fans had seven days to get Destiny 2 and three of its season packs for free. Today, December 20th, the sale continues as the Epic Games Store announces its next free game. For a limited time, Epic Games Store customers will be able to score DNF Duel as the first of many daily free games.
Epic Games Store Reveals It’s Next Mystery Game Giveaway
Released in 2022, DNF Duel is a fighting game set in the Dungeon & Fighter universe by Neople. The game, described as “2.5D” fighting game, features 16 playable characters like Berserker, Dragon Knight, Hitman, Enchantress, or the unlockable Hidden Character. Each character has their own fighting style and moveset, allowing for a great deal of creativity from the players. Normally a $50 value, DNF Duel is free on the Epic Games Store until 8am tomorrow morning. The game’s DLC packs are unfortunately not included in the giveaway and will have to be bought separately for $6.99 each.
If DNF Duel isn’t for you, then a new game will be on sale tomorrow. Even though the Epic Games Store holiday sale is capped on either end by a week-long sale, like with Destiny 2, the main event is a stretch of Mystery Games that swap out every day. Rumors exist regarding which games are going to be on sale this year, but Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything.
