With the holidays fast approaching, it’s time to look for gifts for those special friends, partners, and family. These gift ideas are for the most ultimate fantasy RPG fans around. If the person you have in mind is a fan of Baldur’s Gate 3, Final Fantasy, Dragon Age, and more, then you’re in the right place. You’ll find a variety of gift ideas, from clothing to memorabilia, such as figures, plushies, and collectibles.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Rook’s Coffer
If your giftee has been talking about Dragon Age: The Veilguard nonstop (all good things, I hope), you can complete their obsession with the Rook’s Coffer collection set. It’s chock full of merchandise, which includes:
- Rook’s card deck
- Glass potion flask
- Enchanted 12-sided die (like the one from the game)
- Cloth map
- Quiver
- Companion litho prints
- And a light-up Lyrium dagger
Now, the biggest drawback with Rook’s Coffer is that it doesn’t come with the game. If your giftee is crafty or loves to cosplay, the Lyrium dagger alone is a great accessory. And who wouldn’t stick the glass potion flask or quiver on a belt?
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Posable Action Figures
I’m a big fan of Final Fantasy 7, and I’ve been eyeing these action figures up for a while. If I want one (or really all of them), your giftee will want one too, especially if they love Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth as much as I do. What’s particularly cool is that there are action figures for both the remake and the originals.
For example, there’s Cloud in his original purple outfit or his all new threads from Rebirth. You can get a look at all the action figures available on Square Enix’s store page. Each action figure has several points of motion and additional pieces, like hands and a stand.
One important thing to note is that some of the Rebirth action figures won’t be available until 2025, but they can be pre-ordered now.
Dragon Quest Slime Face Hoodie
With the holiday season comes the colder weather, and there’s nothing better than a warm hoodie to complete your fit. Well, except for one thing: a hoodie with the face of a slime, straight from Dragon Quest.
What’s surprising is that you have some say over how it looks, too, not just in color but where the slime’s face is (front or back). And with 11 different colors, you can more or less pick a color that matches your favorite slime, like silver for the Metal Slime or all-black for the Shadow Slime.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Vinyl Figures and Plushies
Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t dying down anytime soon, and for many years to come. There’s a 99% chance your loved one is still playing the game, especially if they’re on console, now that mods are available. If they’re short on some BG3 memorability, you can rectify that with some vinyl figures and plushies.
Although Youtooz doesn’t have a vinyl figure for every companion, there are fan favorites, like Asarion, Shadowheart, Gale, and Lae’zel (the best one, obviously).
There are more options for plushies, though. You’ll find the same four companions, plus Karlach, Wyll, Halsin (in bear form), Scratch, and the Owlbear cub.
Elden Ring: Messmer the Impaler’s Helmet
Shadow of the Erdtree is, without a doubt, some of the best DLC from really any game. It adds all new bosses to fight, places to discover, and items to use, but it’s also led to awesome merch. Case in point, your giftee could be a proud owner of Messmer’s own helmet.
The fun part isn’t that it’s just a collectible, but a collectible you can wear! Of course, when it isn’t being worn (because, let’s be honest, they will be wearing it a lot), it comes with a stand, so you can leave it out in the open as a conversation piece.
