Puzzle mastermind Pine Studio are unleashing their new first-person project Escape Simulator for Steam today. The title will see players teaming up to solve a series of escape rooms across different regions and locations.
Put Your Heads Together to Resolve the Mysteries in Escape Simulator
Escape Simulator features 15 unique escape rooms that are playable solo or with up to three friends. Players will venture to the lands of Egypt and all way the way to outer space to uncover the secrets behind these otherworldly puzzles. Interact with environments by smashing furniture, breaking locks, and unlocking boxes. If something isn’t bolted down, you can potentially pick that specific item up. Feel free to think outside the “room”.
The puzzle simulator also comes equipped with a level editor, encouraging players to customize and construct their own escape rooms. Of course, this comes with the permittance to explore other puzzles designed by other players around the world. Additionally, you will be able to switch out your outfits to share with your friends.
Pine Studio has been crafting puzzle titles for a while now. They started out as a small development studio in a garage to eventually evolve into a notable developer. They’re most well-known for the popular Seum: Speedrunners from Hell, but have also released The Academy, Faraway Series, and a couple more along the way.
Escape Simulator is available now for the PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam for $14.99. In celebration of the game’s release, there is a special 10% off promotion ($13.49) that will end on October 26. So, if you’re looking to grab the puzzle title for a small discount, now is your time.
