For example, Eternal Calculus is one of the 5-star Light Cones introduced in HSR Version 2.3 and works only for the Erudition Path. This item debuted with Jade and helps maximize her build, but many other characters can take advantage of its effect. Also, Eternal Calculus allows characters from the game’s first versions of Honkai Star Rail to shine, which is great for players joining this gacha adventure for the first time.
Best Characters for Eternal Calculus
Eternal Calculus is a Light Cone for characters that follow the Path of Erudition in HSR. This means that it focuses on attacking multiple targets simultaneously. Eternal Calculus is ideal for Pure Fiction due to its SPD and ATK boost, especially for the multiple waves of this game mode, allowing characters to stack ATK buffs. However, it is not the best alternative in situations with few enemies or in Memory of Chaos. Below is the Light Cone’s effect.
Effect: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 8%. After using an attack, for each enemy target hit, additionally increases ATK by 4%. This effect can stack five times, lasting until the next attack. If three or more enemy targets are hit, this unit’s SPD increases by 8%, lasting for one turn.

Eternal Calculus is a versatile Light Cone in HSR that works well with many Erudition characters.
