Like a Dragon Gaidenย offers a new feature that isn’t necessarily new to the series. Coliseum Fighting is new to the game in name but not really new to the series. You’ll be able to recruit fighters and have them join you in various different fights at The Castle. There are a total of 14 coliseum fighters inย Like a Dragon Gaidenย you can recruit in this mode using different methods. To complete your collection, we wrote out who these fighters are and how you can recruit them for yourself.

There are 14 Coliseum fighters in Like a Dragon Gaiden. They are obtainable via Request side missions, paying the Broker to meet new fighters, and via pre-order bonuses. All 14 of them are as follows:

Businessman TaroBooster – Greatly increases Attack.Speak to Taro in the Silver Rank VIP Room, a place you unlock after beating all the Hell Team Rumble Bronze Rank challenges.
Daigo DojimaTrue Inspiration – Greatly recovers all allies’ health.Given as a pre-order bonus.
Excellent SujiyaUndying Determination – Prevents KO of all allies.Complete the “Save the Pro Wrestler” Request for the character Akame.
Goro MajimaMad Dog Rush – A spinning attack that slashes nearby enemies. Inflicts heavy damage.Given as a pre-order bonus.
HammerheadHeat Mode – Greatly increase Attack. Stance becomes harder to break.Added to your team as part of the Coliseum tutorial, where you are introduced to Hell Team Rumble matches.
Hattori the NinjaExtreme Slash – Performs an unguardable slash attack. Inflicts heavy damageTalk to Hattori when you meet them in the VIP Silver Lounge.
Homeless YamaokaHeat Mode – Greatly increase Attack. Stance becomes harder to break.Complete the “Recruit Homeless Yamaoka” Request given by Akame.
KamiyamaCannon Spray – Fires a cannon in rapid succession. Inflicts heavy damage.Speak to the Broker in the Coliseum lobby, then pay them 100,000 Yen to meet Kamiyama.
Koji ShiranitaBerserker – Greatly increases Attack and Defense. Prevents KO.Complete the “Vanish the White Knights” and “Final Showdown: White Knights” Requests after you have beaten the Red Peacocks.
Lil’ Rhyuji GodadRyuji Goda’s Prestige – Greatly increases all allies’ Defense. Stance becomes harder to break.Speak to the Broker and pay them 200,000 Yen to meet Rhyuji.
Patriarch GondawaraHeat Mode – Greatly increase Attack. Stance becomes harder to break.Speak to the Broker and pay them 300,000 Yen to meet Gondawara.
PhoenikiPowerful Spin – Performs an unguardable area attack.Talk to Phoeniki when you meet them in the Silver VIP Lounge.
Ryusei TobashiraEnergy Drink – Recovers health.Complete the “The Strongest Convenience Store Clerk” Request for Akame.
Super Guard MachineUnbreakable Wall – Greatly increases Defense.Speak to the Broker and pay them 200,000 Yen to meet Super Guard Machine.
Taiga SaejimaBerserker – Greatly increases Attack and Defense. Prevents KO.Given as a pre-order bonus.
