Fall Guys, everyone’s favorite bean-related battle royale game, is going free-to-play starting June 21! The game will also be getting its Nintendo Switch and Xbox launches around the same time, meaning you’ll be able to play with more people than ever before. The announcement was made through a live stream that just occurred, which you can find over on the official Fall Guys YouTube channel or below.

With Fall Guys now being on so many platforms with the Xbox and Switch releases, you can also enjoy cross-platform play alongside cross-progression so you can play on the go and keep all cosmetics. That wouldn’t be amazing on its own, but combined with free-to-play, means you can get some fresh air and enjoy some Fall Guys when not at your PC or console. Speaking of free-to-play, you may be wondering what happens since you may have bought the game already. Well thankfully, you’re in luck. Fall Guys owners can score themselves a free Legacy Pack on the upcoming free-to-play launch, including several skins, a “season pass” of sorts, and the Free Falling tag line all to showcase you were there before the game was cool. Or something like that at least.

Alongside all this will be the debut of the new Season 1 for Fall Guys, which brings with it similar content to previous seasons alongside all this new stuff. This means that on June 21, you can expect a heap of new levels alongside costumes to style your Fall Guy however you’d like. While it’s admittedly a tad strange to be seeing this season called “Season 1” all things considered, it does make some sense for those coming in for the first time thanks to the game’s free-to-play version.

For now, I’d love to hear your thoughts on all the announcements. Are you excited about Fall Guys going free-to-play alongside the Xbox and Nintendo Switch launches? What do you hope to see for new levels from the new Season 1? Let me know!
