Can’t wait for Fallout 4 but still need that post apocalyptic fix? Bethesda thinks they have the solution for you. Available for pre-order from the Bethesda Store is the Fallout Anthology collection for PC. It contains every bit of previously released Fallout material (games and DLC included), all in an exclusive mini-nuke collector’s case. The case even includes an audible bomb sound, so you probably don’t want to pack it in your carry-on. Finally, there is leftover space in the case for when you inevitably add Fallout 4 to your collection.

Here’s what is included with Fallout Anthology, besides the mini-nuke:

  • Fallout
  • Fallout 2
  • Fallout Tactics
  • Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition (which includes all the addons: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runners Arsenal)
  • Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (again with add-ons: The Pitt, Operation: Anchorage, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta)

All of this retails for just $50. Chances are, some of these will be duplicate purchases for most. However, $50 is the same price you would pay were you to buy each of these games individually on Steam. So, if collector’s editions are your thing, you cannot go wrong with Fallout Anthology.

Do some prep work before you go stomping around Boston in this.

Obviously, Bethesda is trying to capitalize on the hype surrounding the release of Fallout 4. You could do worse to prepare for the highly anticipated, post-apocalyptic trek through Boston than playing through some of the old classics like Fallout Tactics and Fallout 3. For more information on Fallout 4, check out our preview from Bethesda’s E3 conference. It releases November 10th. Fallout Anthology releases about a few months beforehand, on Sept. 29th.

Excited to pick up Fallout Anthology? Or do you already own too many copies of Fallout New Vegas? Let us know in the comments below.
