Family Skids and Crashes on Icy Road While Singing MAGA Version of YMCA: ‘I’m From a Place That Doesn’t Get Icy Roads, but It Looks Like They Were Going Way Too Fast for Those Conditions?’

Why wouldn’t he pay attention?

Sometimes, it’s worth paying attention to the road conditions in front of you when driving with other passengers in the vehicle. Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where instead of the present being 20/20, it’s hindsight. While driving along an icy road, a family decides to sing along to a MAGA version of the classic song, YMCA by Village People instead of pay attention to the icy roads in front of them. What happens next was recorded and then reposted to Reddit for everyone to see and judge for themselves.

The video above appears to have been taken by the driver’s dashcam, as it has a very clear view of the inside of the vehicle as well as the front. In it, the driver, a passenger bedides him, and a passenger in the back seat are all singing along to a MAGA-themed version of YMCA. Instead of paying attention to what is going on in front of them, the drivert decides to speed through the icy roads. Sure enough, the speed proves to be a problem and the driver crashes into the median. Fortunately, it appears that no one was injured as a result of the driver’s negligence.

Part of me assumes that despite what the driver was doing before the accident began, he was singing the song within the privacy of his own car with no intention of showing the video to anyone. That’s what makes it so much funnier that the video was released as a result of the crash. It’s also funny that, because of the video, now others can sit and judge them all.

“I’m from a place that doesn’t get icy roads, but it looks like they were going WAY too fast for those conditions?”

Hopefully ,the crash means that the driver will be off the road for a while. I don’t think I want to be driving knowing that there is someone out there in the world who would rather sing songs about Donald Trump’s ideals than pay attention while driving.
