Youtube video game music cover artist FamilyJules7X (Jules Conroy) has released another video in his series of “Top Ten” videos. The focus of the list, this time, around was top ten level 1 themes. Just like his previous two top ten lists the track was selected based on votes from his fans. Check out the full video below.

As always here is the track list for your convenience

  1. Strike the Earth! Plains of Passage – Shovel Knight (Jake Kaufman)
  2. City Escape – Sonic Adventure 2 (Crush 40)
  3. Central Highway – Mega Man X (Setsuo Yamamoto, Makoto Tomozawa, Yuki Iwai, Yuko Takehara, Toshihiko Horiyama)
  4. Doom – E1M1 (Robert Prince)
  5. Green Hill Zone – Sonic the Hedgehog (Masato Nakamura)
  6. Bob-Omb Battlefield – Super Mario 64 (Koji Kondo)
  7. Destiny Islands – Kingdom Hearts (Yoko Shimomura)
  8. Jungle Hijinx – Donkey Kong Country (David Wise)
  9. Vampire Killer – Castlevania (Kinuyo Yamashita, Satoe Terashima)
  10. Prologue – Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Michiru Yamane)

Sadly my vote didn’t make the list, but it was a long shot anyway. Personally, I really enjoyed his rendition of “Vampire Killer” and “Jungle Hijinx”. It was a pleasant surprise to see Shovel Knight make the list, it is well deserved. FamilyJules7x’s next list will be “Top Ten Character Themes”, so if you are interested be sure to hop over to the above video’s comment section and make your vote.
