Earlier today, Ubisoft announced that the first of three Far Cry 6 DLC, ‘Vaas: Insanity’, will be available later this month. The ‘Vaas: Insanity’ DLC has Michael Mando returning to play the ultimate baddie from Far Cry 3, Vaas. “Starting with nothing more than a pistol to defend themselves, players will need to find new weapons and unlock power-ups to become stronger and progress deeper into the depths of Vaas’ psyche.“

The first Far Cry 6 DLC is “a brand-new experience inspired by the roguelite genre” with its “die and retry” gameplay. Ubisoft promised that this DLC “will provide a unique opportunity to better understand Vaas’ past, personal demons, and motivations.”

The ‘Vaas: Insanity’ DLC will be available on November 16. Episode two, ‘Pagan: Control’, is set to release in January 2022, and episode three, ‘Joseph: Collapse’, will be available in March 2022. Each of the DLC will provide players the chance to better understand the mindset and motivations behind some of Far Cry’s best villains. Each episode can be played solo or co-op.

Along with the DLC, fans can expect to see a handful of free missions become available over the next few months. According to Ubisoft’s post-launch roadmap, Puerta del Eden and Malagua will also drop in November. Three crossover missions are included as well: “Danny & Dani vs. Everybody,” featuring Danny Trejo, and “Rambo: All The Blood,” will drop in February; “The Vanishing,” a crossover with Stranger Things, will be available in March.

Far Cry 6 is available now on Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The season pass is priced at $39.99.
