The movie star exclusively told the outlet she was an old soul, adding that she always felt like she would “totally fly” when she entered her forties. Next, Brewster mentioned that meeting the love of her life at 40 was a confirmation of what she always believed. She added:
“It’s just a really fun time, and I’m enjoying it all.”
The actress also went deeper into her romance with Morfit, revealing how she knew he was the one. After meeting in 2020 through a mutual friend, Brewster said she brought the ValueAct Capital CEO to her book club. There, Morfit read a book that his wife-to-be had referenced, titled “Virginia Woolf’s Orlando.” According to Brewster, that was the moment she knew he was the one for her. In her words:
“I was like, ‘Wow! If you’re gonna put that time into this, you’re a keeper.'”
Eventually, Brewster and Morfit’s relationship blossomed, and the pair began dating. In 2021, the couple got engaged and tied the knot in September of the following year. Nearly a year later, Brewster described marriage life as “game-changing.” The 43-year-old told the outlet she and her husband complemented each other. According to the icon, they were both nerds and emotional, but they loved organization. Brewster also mentioned that they gravitated towards the same thing and taught each other a lot.
