The roster for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is about to get bigger because the next Season Pass 1 character is right around the corner. Joe Higashi, the Muay Thai legend and one fighter that many might remember from the classic Fatal Fury games, is finally coming to this new entry. Like previous characters, Joe will also have his own adventures in the Arcade and EOST modes. And if you’re lucky enough to attend TGS 2025, you’ll be able to take him out for some rounds in a special early demo.
Joe Higash Comes to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in Fall
While there isn’t an exact release date yet, we know Joe Higashi’s arrival isn’t far away, as fall is just right around the corner. Plus, we already have a lot of information regarding this legendary fighter who isn’t bringing only the iconic Hurricane Uppers, but also comes with playable story segments.
Besides joining the roster, Joe Higashi will also bring his Arcade Mode story as well as Episodes of South Town. The former will let you see the fighter as he goes through the filming process of a major motion picture, while the latter takes you through his single-player RPG segment as he remembers his encounters with Preecha.
If you can’t wait to try Joe’s iconic playstyle, there is one way to experience his fast and destructive kicks before his official release. Joe Higashi will be part of an early demo at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. If you can attend this event, you can find the demo at the Samsung SSD Booth.
Remember that Joe is only the third character of the game’s first season pass, and there are two more on the way. The next one who will join the roster and comes all the way from Street Fighter is Chun-Li, and right after that, we will see Mr. Big. There’s still some time before that happens, but Joe Higashi will keep us occupied with his Muay Thai moves for a very long time.
