A Florida woman called out FedEx in a recent TikTok video after her home security camera allegedly captured a delivery driver picking up cash that had fallen on her driveway. The money, she explained, had accidentally slipped out of her husband’s pocket as he was heading to the bank to deposit it.
According to the woman, the FedEx worker had dropped off a package at the couple’s home before noticing the cash on the ground. Instead of leaving, he lingered for several moments, looking around and waiting until a mail carrier across the street finished a delivery. Then, when no one appeared to be watching, he bent down, picked up the money, and slipped it into his pocket before leaving.
The woman, who works overtime each week to help her family pay bills, said her husband had sold an item just so they could make ends meet. She clarified that the money, which was around $500, was meant to cover essential expenses, not disposable income. “Everybody’s broke, I get it,” she said in the video. “But this was literally on our driveway between our front door and our garage. It wasn’t a parking lot or the street. This wasn’t yours to take.”
She added that the delivery driver’s behavior was deliberate because he checked his surroundings before picking up the cash. “If you have to look around to see if anybody is watching you, then you knew you were doing something wrong,” she said, demanding that FedEx “do the right thing.”
