What’s Shown in the FF7: The First Soldier Trailer?
While the opening cinematic isn’t gameplay footage, it is a teaser for what’s to expect. In FF7: The First Soldier, there could be plenty of different methods to fight. While some BRs have included magical elements before, the mobile-only game is, however, aiming to include gunplay alongside magical elements. Despite the title aiming to compete with many other free-to-play mobile BR games, Square Enix is aiming for something unique. While the release is currently only a mobile game, there’s certainly a market for cross-platform BR titles. Yet, Square seems adamant that the title will be successful on its own in the mobile space. Even if the gameplay stands out on its own, however, fans are certainly curious as to why Square Enix is pushing Final Fantasy 7 Remake content to mobile. Even if the mobile title gains relevance and prestige of its own, there’s still no guarantee we will see the title on other platforms any time soon. Despite this, FF7: The First Soldier has its release date set for the 17th.
