Final Fantasy fans rejoice! During today’s live letter, the MMO producer revealed the official release date for FFXIV 6.4: The Dark Throne. While many were right at speculating the launch of this new update due to the release schedule of patches, it is nice to have an official one. This update is beefy as it brings new main story quests, a new variant dungeon, the Pandaemonium series’s conclusion, and much more. If you were planning to play something before the imminent release of Final Fantasy 16, now you have the chance. The new update is just a few days away.
FFXIV 6.4: The Dark Throne Confirms Its Release Date for May 23
On May 23, players will get the chance to enjoy the upcoming 6.4 update for FFXIV. In this update, we’ll face one of the biggest baddies of the expansion and discover more of what’s on the horizon for our characters. Besides all that, we are also getting the conclusion of the fantastic Pandaemonium raid series. And if you wanted even more content, even the Island Sanctuary is getting an update that’ll let you furnish the exterior of it. While it isn’t a replacement for the housing system, it is a welcome addition. So yes, this update is going to be packed.

As usual, with the release date of FFXIV 6.4: The Dark Throne, we are also getting balance updates, new optional quests, new craftable gear, and new currency. Luckily, there’ll be many things for players to do regardless of your preferred content. If you only want your new relic weapon, you’ll be able to get it. Are you a fan of Tataru’s quest?
