FIFA 22 has today launched title update 5 on console platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update was previously added over to the PC version of FIFA 22, though has finally made its way over to consoles for those who were excited. Given that this update only made one change, and a small one at that, I doubt anyone was incredibly excited. Still, any sort of change is nice, and it’s a good sign that the team is still keeping an eye on the game. Even if some would believe it’s a strange thing to call a title update. Without further adieu, here are the patch notes for FIFA 22 title update 5 on consoles!
FIFA 22 Title Update 5 Console Patch Notes
Made the following change:
- Increased the likelihood of a player retaining the ball after intercepting or blocking a Ground Pass.
- This change has no effect on how often Ground Passes are intercepted and blocked, it only impacts the outcome of interceptions and blocks.
Yes, that is all that’s changed. And while the likelihood of a player retaining the ball after intercepting a Ground Pass being increased is a welcome change, it isn’t anything to write home about. The team didn’t go into the change much further, instead choosing to let players know that they can report any issues or bugs they find with the game on their social media or through the game’s official forums (found at the patch notes below). If there are issues you’re having with the game that the team simply has yet to notice, you should head over there and let them know. Regardless, let’s hope title update 6 brings just a bit more content to be excited about.
FIFA 22 and title update 5 are available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia. For more information regarding this update, check out the official forums.
