The Final Fantasy VII crew will return to PS4 next March and Square Enix says the game will take up two Blu-Ray discs.
Simply titled Final Fantasy VII Remake, Square Enix revealed several details and a full trailer plus gameplay for the upcoming game as the headliner for their E3 showcase.
Neal Pabon, Senior Manager and Product Manager for the remake says they also focused on improving the combat system,
“FFVII Remake Features a hybrid gameplay system that Merges real-time action with strategic command based combat.”
The combat will feature ATB bars that will allow Cloud and party members to use enhanced abilities, objects, spells, and enter tactical mode.
Tactical mode slows down time to give players a better view of the battlefield and think strategically about their next move.
The game is available to pre-order and will release with a multitude of extra goodies including a hardback art book featuring stunning concept art, a Mini-Soundtrack CD, Summon Materia DLC allowing players to summon Cactuar in game, and a Sephiroth SteelBook Case. The Digital Deluxe Edition contains a digital art book, a digital Mini-Soundtrack, and Summon Materia DLC allowing players to summon Carbuncle and Cactuar in game.
Final Fantasy VII Remake releases for PlayStation 4 March 3rd, 2020.
