Fire Emblem Byleth Paralogue
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Byleth Paralogue in Fire Emblem Engage is a mission that must be completed to increase Byleth’s friendship level from 10 to 20, granting him the ability to learn new skills and acquire the Sword of the Creator. Rewards for completion include an elixir and a talisman, but only if two or fewer crystals around the tomb have been broken. Also, you can collect up to 1000 coins as drops from enemies.

Victory conditions involve defeating Emblem Byleth while protecting Crystals. This challenging paralogue takes place at a Sacred Tomb with special restrictions that prevent utilization of the Emblem Ring by Byleth and requires nine player units with an advanced class level 5. Enemies present amount to 27 in all.

You can unlock Byleth Paralogue once you complete Chapter 15, Dancer in the Ruins. But many players recommend completing at least Chapter 23 before attempting Byleth Paralogue.

Byleth Paralogue in Fire Emblem

You can complete the Byleth Paralogue in Fire Emblem Engage by defeating Byleth with Bows and melee units. You can use Lindwurm, Sleipnir Rider, Cupido, Bow Knight and Lyn, and other units of your choice.

  1. Use Lindwurm and Sleipnir Rider to deal with enemies with lower Res and use their flying abilities to reach Byleth.
  2. Cupido and Bow Knight are both archers and use them to attack enemies from a distance. Also, both are mounted bow units, allowing them to shoot further spread.
  3. Lyn: Lyn has a Killer bow and Astra Storm, making her one of the best units for this mission. Use her to attack Byleth from a distance and eliminate obstacles.

Finally, before you engage in combat with Byleth, check which weapons are effective against them. Use the units mentioned above to defeat Byleth and complete the Byleth Paralogue in Fire Emblem Engage.
