No matter which side you choose in Roblox Fire Force Online, you’ll need to rank up and learn abilities. Without abilities, you won’t survive the harsh encounters that await you. Understandably, when you first start, you’re lower than low. This means you have some climbing to do if you want to earn some abilities and start seeing just how powerful your character can be.

Abilities in Fire Force Online
When you drop into Fire Force Online, there’s so much you can get into. But the important thing is understanding your character (especially if you’re like me and passed on the tutorial). When you unlock abilities, you’re randomly given a Generation from 1-3:
- Generation 1: You can become an Infernal or wield a weapon.
- Generation 2: You can control fire, but you must use a source like a lighter or fuel-infused weapon.
- Generation 3: Fire is created directly from your body.
Generations are unique, but to get your abilities in Roblox Fire Force Online, you must earn points. Click ‘M’ to bring up the menu and select your Skill Tree on the far right. Here, you’ll notice everything you can do. Abilities aren’t seen yet until you increase your Generation. You’ll know you’re in the abilities with the pink-like color nodes rather than purple or yellow.
Earning Ability Points
To earn abilities in Fire Force Online, you must rank up. Generally, you’ll start with about 6 Ability Points. After that, you can gain a single point every 1-2 ranks. But that will only last you until you reach Rank 5. This is important to remember: after Rank 5, you only gain points after every 5th or 6th rank up.
Thankfully, earning enough points in the beginning is straightforward. Some quick ways to rank up include the following:
- Quests: Search for NPCs with exclamation points above their heads and take on their specific quests. It can be anything from searching for something to stopping crime. You can’t run around the city without seeing an NPC, so your options are plentiful.
- Missions: The Mission Board is available when you join your faction (White Clads or Fire Forces). You can do these things more than once, and they’re an easy way to rack up XP to fly by the ranks.
- Fight: Yes, in an anime-inspired Roblox experience, you should fight. Fight NPCs. Battle other players. Either way will earn you XP.
So, brush up on your skills to accomplish as many tasks or battles as possible. You’ll need those unique abilities to face the stronger obstacles that are to come in Fire Force Online.
