We all know that the First Amendment is extraordinary, as it allows us to express ourselves freely. However, there are some people who have been abusing it, leading to a lot of public disturbances, annoying situations, and the usual cringe we see in some YouTube channels. Recently, someone recorded a couple of influencers who have been going around New York recording and rage baiting propoe by either throwing insults up in the air, yelling profanity, and just being professional morons. However, the latest victims were a few NYPD officers.
A few New Yorkers might already know who these two annoying influencers are, but if not, they go by the name of Ely TV on YouTube. In the above video, you can see the two men talking to an NYPD officer. One of those with the camera starts screaming at another police officer to get the cop “away from his son,” pointing at the other man with the camera.
However, if you listen closely, it seems that the ones who live in the building called the New York police to deal with these two professional morons.
If you head to their channel, you’ll see how they usually go around town filming people, often harassing them, or falsely accusing them of different things. In a recent video, where they go around a parking lot, harassing a couple of women, and accusing them of doing racial profiling, when in truth, the two women were only asking them to stop.
Yet, the two influencers always argue that filming is within their rights, and while it is valid to an extent, they are just doing it to get internet clout.
A few New Yorkers commented on the video, with not-so-friendly opinions about these so-called YouTubers.
“I’ve seen these clowns around. They are a nuisance,” said nicabanicaba.
“I walked past this guy on 84th and 2nd around 745pm. He was filming and screaming/talking profanity loudly to nobody in particular while walking. It seemed like he was trying to bait people to start an issue,” commented Peakraider714.
As you can see, this isn’t just a contained situation. Many New Yorkers know these two annoying men, who have been a thorn in their side for a long time. Hopefully, this video will teach other members of the community to ignore them.
