The first episode for Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone reboot series is available, for free, on YouTube right now. You can click here to be directed to the CBS All-Access YouTube channel, where the full episode can be streamed. This isn’t an April Fools joke by the way.

Titled “The Comedian”, the first episode stars Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley, The Big Sick) and Tracy Morgan (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live). Here’s a brief synopsis for the episode:

“Comedian Samir Wassan (Kumail Nanjiani) wants to be famous…but at what cost?”

Along with Nanjiani and Morgan, the Twilight Zone reboot series will go on to star names such as Seth Rogen (This Is The End, Pineapple Express), Adam Scott (Parks and Rec, Step Brothers), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2, Atlanta), Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead, Okja), John Cho (Harold and Kumar, Star Trek), and Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets, Little Miss Sunshine). Jordan Peele, who is an executive producer for the series, will also act as the narrator for the season.

The series’ second episode, titled “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet”, is also available to stream. But, this episode is only available via a CBS All-Access subscription. Here is a synopsis for that episode (via IMDB):

“A journalist listens to a podcast detailing how the plane on which he’s a passenger will disappear.”

For those of you who are fans of the original Twilight Zone series, “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet” is actually a reimagining of the classic 1963 episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet “ starring William Shatner. The reboot series will return April 11th and will air new episodes every Thursday on the streaming service.

Have you seen either episode of The Twilight Zone reboot series? What did you think? Is it worth the CBS All-Access subscription? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to stay tuned to The Nerd Stash for all of your nerdy news and needs!
