Justice League Action looks like DC at its best.
While DC has some catching up to do on the live-action movie front, they have a strong reputation on the animation front. Since everyone remembers how great the first Justice league cartoon was, they have high hopes for Justice League Action.
Therefore, the first trailer for Justice League Action is a promising start:

First of all, the show certainly seems to live up to its title of ‘action. And then there’s the clear vein of humour throughout. JLA is clearly aimed at the lighter and softer approach DC is going for recently. Also, DC is clearly digging deep into its long history. In addition to the wide selection of characters, there are also glimpses of other things. Like the Superman robot, we briefly see in the trailer. Superman having robot versions of himself comes up every so often in the comics.
Based on this trailer, it’s clearly safe to be excited about this newest entry into DC’s animated collection. JLA’s release later this year is a good opportunity to introduce new fans to their less well-known characters. Most of all, Justice League Action looks full of what superheroes are meant to be; Good clean fun.
