This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information.

Bob Odenkirk has become a Nobody. After his home is raided by thieves, our favorite lawyer just passively sits back and does nothing, letting the bad guys get away. Understandably, he’s chastised by neighbors, co-workers, and even his own son. While we don’t know how the real Odenkirk would act in this situation, we do know that it’s exactly how his character, Hutch, acts in the upcoming movie Nobody which has received a red band trailer today.

In it, we can see that Hutch doesn’t stay meek for very long. Letting his rage simmer over, the Nobody starts to take action that propels him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire, and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.

At least, that’s what the official synopsis says. Just take a look at the trailer for yourselves, as it explains everything perfectly:

What else is there to say, except for the fact this looks like over-the-top fun?

Nobody is directed by Ilya Naishuller who directed the madness that was Hardcore Henry, the script comes from Derek Kolstad, who was one of the brains behind John Wick while the producers include Deadpool 2 alumni, as well as Tobey Maguire. You may also have spotted the fact that Christopher Lloyd is in the movie, a fact that can never be bad. And of course, everyone’s favorite lawyer Bob Odenkirk stars.

We’ll bring you more on Nobody in the coming months, culminating with a 5-star review if we are all lucky. Hopefully, the movie still has plenty in store, as the trailer does seem to give quite a lot away. Thankfully, there isn’t long to wait as Nobody is scheduled to release on February 26, 2021.

Let me know your thoughts on this in the comments. Are you excited for it, or would you rather just stick to the longer running John Wick franchise?
