Most of the time, Mother Nature isn’t on our side. There are days when we’d want the weather to be fine enough to let us do our things, but everything goes sideways, and we get pelleted by storms, strong winds, or worse. However, these things aren’t enough to stop some people. One such case just showed up in a TikTok video, where we can see the recent floods in Cincinnati, Ohio. Yet, these floods are not stopping people from getting on with their normal lives or at least attempting to do so.
The video comes from TikTok user hilarious_scaless, who shared the big floods that are affecting key areas of Cincinnati right now. However, something happens in the background that it seems the TikToker wasn’t even expecting. Halfway through the clip, a man comes riding down on a bicycle, pushing through the water and still manages to wave at the camera in a fun way. The TikToker even ends the video by saying, “I f*cking love my city.”
While this is certainly funny, as you wouldn’t expect someone to push through the flooded areas, we all know that floods are a serious matter and will continue to affect people in the city.
Even if the man on the bike took this in a fun way, the reality is that not everyone is in the same situation. Many have to go to work or do other chores, and the floods have been hard on all Cincinnati citizens.
With that in mind, many people took this in a lighthearted way because, well, what else is there to do now?
“The best part is, I know this wasn’t set up 🤣” – Elly via TikTok.
“It’s real, the river is almost 60 ft.” – Diane Meyer via TikTok.
“Guess I’m swimming to downtown tomorrow.” – Gabby via TikTok.
As you can see, these events have affected many people. Someone even mentioned the river is almost 60 feet, which is alarming. Hopefully, thins will improve soon, so all Cincinnati citizens can return to a normal routine without flooded roads around them.
