A Florida woman named Carissa was recently involved in a horrific car accident with her children. The mother and nurse shared her story online, revealing that her injuries left her in a wheelchair as she healed. Thankfully, she and her children are all alive and working to get past the scary incident as they heal both physically and emotionally. After the accident, Carissa was forced to “cut costs,” and one of those things was her landscaper, who had an unexpected response to being fired.
In a sweet video, Carissa revealed that the man she had previously hired to cut her lawn, John from JP Lawn Service in Sarasota, Florida, wasn’t upset when she lost him as a client. Instead of getting angry about the situation, John did the unthinkable. He continued to mow her yard in the summer heat for free.
“I had to fire him as my lawn guy to cut costs after I was in a car accident and in a wheelchair so couldn’t work. (I’m a single mom). He still mowed my lawn every week in the Florida heat free of charge out of pure kindness. He has a heart of gold and deserves some kind of recognition,” Carissa captioned a TikTok video of John mowing her yard.
She also encouraged others to hire him or leave him a good review. “Please share, and I hope it brings him more business or even a Google review to help. I wish I could do more,” she added.
Florida Woman Shares Heartwarming Act Of Kindness After Terrifying Family Car Accident
The video went viral with more than 1.8 million views, and people wanted to do their part to help out John the lawncare business owner.
Of course, the internet was utterly stunned by the sweet show of kindness from the business owner, proving that there are still good people in the world, especially in Florida, which often gets a bad reputation for the unusual crimes that are often reported from outside the state.
“Dude bout to check his phone to 14 thousand missed calls about some hedges that need trimming hope dude becomes a millionaire overnight he deserves it,” one person commented.
“He got 20+ reviews in the last 12 hours!!” another comment pointed out.
“Everything about this makes me happy. His selfless help, you highlighting his kindness, and people hiring him and recommending based off this video. Look how powerful humanity is when we work together,” a third person stated.
“I wanna cry,” a fourth person chimed in.
It appears that John’s business is poised for a boom, all thanks to his decision to help someone who truly needed it. Thankfully, Carissa’s video reached many of the right people and her Florida neighbors are signing up for lawncare services in droves.
