A bride from Florida named Shayna Sweeney had seemingly planned the perfect wedding, which took place in Florence, Italy. Her hair and makeup looked gorgeous, her dress was stunning, and her close friends and family members were in attendance to watch her tie the knot. However, what was unexpected was what her father did upon walking her down the aisle when he spotted Shayna’s stepdad sitting in the crowd with the other guests.
In the TikTok video, which has been viewed more than 6 million times, the Florida native is seen happily smiling at her father walks her down the aisle. Once positioned at the center of the aisle, Shayna’s father left his daughter and strolled down the pathway himself. Dressed in a black tux with a bowtie, he stopped in front of his daughter’s stepfather, who was sitting in the front ready to watch her get married.
Shayna’s dad approached her stepdad and politely and lovingly asked if he would like to help him escort their beloved daughter down the aisle. The entire crowd gasped audibly, and sighs of “aww” could be heard in the video. Shayna stayed in position with a huge smile on her face as both of her dads approached her. The trio linked arms, and both men walked her down the aisle.
Florida Bride Has Two Dads To Share Her Wedding Day With
Upon arriving at the altar, Shanya kissed both of her dads and told them she loved them. Both fathers also shook hands with their soon-to-be son-in-law before taking their places to watch the wedding unfold.
