I would never hit a minor for any reason, or really anyone for that matter. However, I would move mountains and hit every child in the world if it means making sure my child is protected. One Florida man definitely agrees as he puts words into action, slapping his son’s bully in the face in front of several other minors. Again, I don’t condone any of the actions made in the video, but I also don’t condone bullying anyone for any reason. However, it seems that there are just people in this world who would rather deal with the consequences of their actions instead of not doing them altogether.
In the video, the father can be seen approaching a young girl while holding his son’s hand. It’s unclear exactly what he says to the girl, but judging by the video’s caption, it had something to do with her bullying his son. When he finishes, the girl mockingly agrees with him, only to bend down and what looks like spit on the little boy just as the father turns his back. Of course, he sees this and instead of reacting with words, he slaps the girl in the face, shocking all her friends who were laughing just moments before.
The laughter stops, and you can hear the girl asking those around her to call the police. The comments section is filled with people who agree with the father’s actions.
“Right thing to do? No. Satisfying? Yea.”
Technically, what the man did was battery against a minor, so I doubt that the man will get off on a small charge. However, considering the evidence, I’m also unsure how a judge would react. The young girl very evidently bends down to either say something or spit on the boy. Whoever was behind the camera really did her no favors.
Other commentators who are parents themselves expressed that they would have likely done the same for their own children.
“I’m not letting anyone bully my kids. Idgaf. The whole world can come for me, fuck that. The fact she thought it was okay to do in front of his parents?!! The balls! Hopefully she learned a lesson that day 🤷♂️”
Again, I don’t condone violence against minors in any space. The father thought he did what was best for his son in that moment and that’s what matters.
