It seems like Florida’s weird incidents aren’t stopping anytime soon. At this point, a study needs to be made about the people there to find out what is going on. The latest jaw-dropping event was that a Florida man is going after women realtors to touch their feet. Yes, you read that correctly. It is definitely understandable that realtors were left uncomfortable and terrified by this entire situation. People believe that authorities need to arrest the Florida man.

Several realtors came forward with stories about a Florida man who is going after female agents to touch their feet during showings. So far, more than half a dozen women shared similar stories about the Florida man. His method so far has been making fake house tour bookings or going to open houses. One realtor named Angela Julian shared with 10 Tampa Bay her encounter with the man. He told her that there was an ant on her foot before he bent down and touched her feet.

“He bends down and starts unbuckling my shoe and caressing my foot, and I just thought that that was really weird. At the same time, he’s fidgeting with his phone, petting my foot… I think he’s trying to take some type of video of my skirt. It was really alarming,” she said.

The Florida man is using public information to target female realtors. Realtors were encouraged by some to start carrying firearms or pepper spray. This, however, shouldn’t be the case. What should actually happen is that the man be charged for his behavior, but this didn’t happen so far. What are the police waiting for?

People Reacting to the Florida Man’s Behavior

People were rightly left enraged by the entire situation, and that the Florida man hadn’t faced any charges till now. One Redditor was against people advising the realtors to carry guns. To them, the victims shouldn’t be the ones responsible for their safety. “I love how they know who he is but won’t release his name, then start mansplaining that female agents need to carry weapons and be smart about guns etc. Get the f**kin guy in jail and don’t make his behavior the responsibility of his victims,” they wrote.

Another person thought that it was okay to advise the women realtors to defend themselves against the Florida man. “How does advising safety make his behavior their responsibility? Sickos are gonna be sickos, scolding him isn’t gonna stop him and potential victims need to be empowered to act. When there’s robberies you don’t look at the neighborhood watch and blame them for advising extra safety,’ they wrote. Until the Florida man is arrested, women realtors should definitely be careful. Hopefully, this won’t keep happening any longer.
