Not everyone is a neat freak who hates dirt, but most people have at least some basic sense of cleanliness. You throw away the trash, tidy up when things get messy, and try to keep your home livable. Sure, life gets busy and sometimes the house isn’t spotless, but unless someone is struggling with serious issues, most homes are reasonably clean. That wasn’t the case for one Florida mother who ended up getting a visit from CPS. The woman seemed completely fine living in a house covered in filth. Her bed was caked with dirt and grime, the floors were littered with trash, and to make things worse, she had two kids living in those conditions.
Despite the mess, she proudly shared videos of her home online as she tried to build an influencer following. Naturally, viewers were horrified and started reporting her to CPS. When a CPS worker and an officer arrived, the Florida woman became defensive and refused to let them inside. Even from the doorway, it was clear the home was in terrible shape.
The Florida mom tried to justify the filth by saying it was efficient, claiming her kids were energetic and constantly made a mess. She also said she was a broke single mom, as if that excused the state of the house. When the CPS worker commented on how dirty the bed was, the woman got angry and demanded they come in to see for themselves.
She continued to argue, claiming the bed was fine, and accused the worker of calling her a bad mother. Then she defended herself by saying she was Haitian and that all Haitians live like this. She even insisted it was normal for her family to shower, eat, and sleep outside, which left people wondering why she needed a house at all.
At one point, she brought up a stick that was in the house and claimed she wasn’t physically abusing her children, even though no one had accused her of that. Her defensive comments only made things sound worse.
People online were stunned by the video. Many condemned the Florida mother for allowing her home to get that bad. “That’s a dungeon, not a home,” one person commented. Others said it was clearly child abuse and that CPS needed to remove the kids. One user recalled seeing earlier clips that were even more disturbing, writing, “She had the kids eating Cheerios out of feces on top of dirty toys, and the child’s father was there while she threatened to kill him for sitting on the bed. It was so gross and sad.”
