In a world where cities are becoming larger and require more natural resources, modernity sometimes relegates the flowers and fauna to second place. Some species begin to show signs of domestication, and others must live in shelters for their protection, but some cases are not always happy. For example, this case of a shelter volunteer who adopted a raccoon in Florida in an appalling state, but life gave him a second chance, just as he had to give one to find his best friend in a dog. After a long process, the dog and the raccoon became inseparable, something that seemed impossible, but love made it possible.
The juniperfoxx profile on TikTok is dedicated to sharing videos about the animals they adopted at the Juniper Wildlife Refuge. Some of these animals came to the refuge because they could not adapt back to the wild or because they had some disability. Among the rescues at this shelter, the caretaker found a raccoon with a badly injured nose.
They helped rehabilitate the raccoon, even getting along with one of the Florida shelter’s dogs, Howie. However, at first, Cheese the raccoon could not be near the dog, and sometimes he became aggressive out of fear. But Howie was always careful and patient. Over time, Cheese and Howie’s relationship improved, and they became best friends. It’s great to see how Howie, still very careful and aware of his size when playing, helped his raccoon friend’s personality blossom.
I feel like you’re asking for trouble giving a dog a bestie who has the power of hands 😅

Cheese’s nose fully recovered, and it seems he never had such a terrible injury. However, deep down, this poor raccoon can’t forget what happened, but now he has a great life. Now, the problem is for his caretakers, who must be on the lookout for what new mischief Cheese and Howie are planning. I’m sure Cheese can now help his canine friend reach the shelves with the dog treats, and there’s no way to stop them.
