Some parts of the United States are already practicing dictatorship. Florida politician Randy Fine, who is running for Congress, is leading the movement, as seen in a viral clip.
The Republican, who currently serves in the Florida Senate for the 19th district, was seen in the footage talking rudely to constituents. It begins with a long-haired man speaking about “facilitations.” However, Rep. Fine abruptly shut him down, saying, “You’re done too. Next, 30 seconds.” The arrived citizen fought back, yelling, “30 seconds is disgusting,” as he exited the podium. However, Fine didn’t seem bothered. “Well, yeah, yeah,” he sarcastically muttered before insulting the man, “enjoy your terrorist rag.”
The unnecessary remark caused the crowd to erupt in protest, cautioning the politician that he was crossing boundaries. However, he dismissed them, doubling down on the reason why he had the right to behave in such a rude manner.
“I’m the chairman. I can say what I want. If you don’t like it, you can leave,” Randy Fine curtly replied. The crowd became even more displeased, with one member yelling, “You were paid by us!” This further angered the former gambling industry executive, who broke out in more threats.
“I’ll clear the room and then we can move on if I hear one more outburst. I don’t have to have any of you sit here.”
He reiterated his threat to clear the room once again before the 39-second clip cut. The Reddit footage with the caption, “Randy fine (fl rep) is really something,” has made waves all over the Internet. Citizens are enraged that a politician can speak to constituents without any regard.
“He’s notorious in Florida for being a world-class PoS. But Florida is filled with assholes just like him, so he gets elected,” one user penned.
“What a disgusting human being,” this commenter slammed. “The fact that a politician can speak so ignorantly with no repercussions is a testament to how the Republic is ineffective.”
A third Redditor suggested, “To speak so disrespectfully to the people he is representing should disqualify him from any public office.”
Another comment read, “I wonder when people are going to start throwing rotten vegetables at these people again?“
A constituent present at the meeting revealed in the Reddit comments that Rep. Fine gave a woman who needed a translator only 15 seconds.
Rep. Randy Fine is a candidate in the upcoming special election for Florida’s recently vacated 6th district congressional seat. It will be held on April 1. Josh Weil is Fine’s Democratic opponent, and he just might have snagged victory with this damaging video.
