A server in Miami, Florida, was trying to sing a song to entertain her customers. They, however, really wanted to order drinks, but the server snapped at them for interrupting her performance. Others called the experience the worst, and it appears that the server and her coworkers are quitting for good.
The incident occurred at the Tea Around Town in Florida. This experience allows customers to enjoy a double-decker bus ride that combines the pleasures of drinking tea with some lighthearted sightseeing. However, for some reason, one of the servers really wanted to cover Adele’s version of “Make You Feel My Love,” as shared by TikTok user rayito_tiktoker_93 (Vale).
The customers didn’t feel the server’s love at all, as she insulted them with expletives as they demanded drinks. Vale and her friends, meanwhile, were shocked to the core. The server then said that she was “done” and that she was quitting her job. She then called the customers “rude” and criticized them for laughing during her singing.
The server is then shown shoving the microphone at one customer, asking her, “Is this still funny?” All the while, the song’s backing track continued playing, in what can only be described as a tragic scene of anempathetic musical background.
The back and forth continued, and the Florida server told the customers to shut up and demanded they be respectful.
“I’m tired of these people,” she added. “I don’t get paid enough for this [expletive].”
‘Worst Experience Ever’
Another TikToker, perovane_ (Vanessa), shared a different video about her experience at the Tea Around Town. Her clip appeared to be from earlier in the day, and a server, probably the same one as before, said, “I’m quitting for sure. Today’s my last day.“
Vanessa revealed that the bus was two hours late, the food was soggy, and items were missing from the menu. Worst of all, one of the servers began singing a version of “The Wheels on the Bus,” changing its lyrics to make fun of the two-hour delay.
Calling it the “worst experience ever,” Vanessa’s clip also included another server telling her and her friends to ask for a refund. She then added that she and her friend were quitting.
Tea Around Town apologized to both women, saying that they were “reviewing the matter.” Users, however, blasted the experience, calling the servers unprofessional.
“You can’t expect workers who are clearly at their limits to remain professional in a doomed tea party bus,” one user said. Another one commented, “My daughter wanted to go on that tour. Not anymore!” A third one added, “Now THIS is TEA and sightseeing.”
Hopefully, the customers got their money back, and the servers, while rude, got a break. They were evidently overwhelmed.
